Whether I’m designing an annual program brochure for a philharmonic, packaging a DVD about two brothers who served in World War II, or creating an array of marketing pieces for a law firm, one thing is consistent—my work aims to serve and appeal to the audience. The approach needs to be thoughtful, deliberate and executed with attention to detail. Good publication design starts with an informative creative brief, discussion, collaboration and teamwork toward a common goal. When I think of the common thread of my most successful projects, it’s crystal clear—great clients working closely with me. I am energized by the unique challenge of bringing the design facets together. This doesn’t happen in isolation, we do this together.
